Reflexology
A deeply restorative treatment that works with the body’s natural rhythms and innate ability to restore balance.
Through intentional touch and present connection, reflexology creates space for relaxation, regulation and renewal.
What is reflexology?
Foot Reflexology is a holistic therapy that draws on an ancient, long-established approach of working with specific reflex areas across the feet. These areas are associated with different body systems, glands and organs, providing a framework for treatment.
Through the application of intentional, skilled pressure, reflexology supports nervous system regulation and encourages the body to enter a deeply relaxed and restorative state.
In this space of rest, the body is supported in reconnecting with its own natural rhythms, gently guiding it back towards a state of balance and homeostasis.
The WHOLE approach:
My approach to reflexology is intuitive, and deeply attuned to the individual in front of me.
Every treatment is unique and completely guided by what your body is communicating in the moment, and adapted to meet you exactly where you are.
This is a space where you are listened to, not assessed; supported, not directed.
I work with the understanding that the body holds layers of experience, and that true support comes from meeting those layers with care, presence, and respect.

Through intuitive, flowing touch and the soothing warmth of hot stones, this treatment creates space to slow down, reconnect and return to yourself.
The heat from the stones reaches deeper into the body, bringing a sense of warmth, grounding and comfort that allows tension to soften and the body to gently unwind.
As the nervous system begins to move away from a state of alert and towards the parasympathetic state of ‘rest and restore’, the body is supported in feeling safe enough to release and replenish.
A beautiful treatment to restore balance, and nourish the entirety of you.

Women’s health is at the heart of my work, honouring the natural rhythms, transitions and seasons experienced throughout a woman’s life.
From hormonal changes and the menstrual cycle through fertility, pregnancy and postnatal life, perimenopause, menopause and beyond, these shifts can be felt physically, emotionally and mentally, shaping how we experience ourselves and move through our lives.
At times of transition, the body often asks for greater care, support and attention. The techniques and sequences in these treatments offer a space to slow down, reconnect and listen to what the body may be asking for.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to you, with an intuitive approach that meets you where you are in your journey.

Reflexology for wellbeing is at the heart of creating space to pause, reconnect and care for yourself.
Through gentle, flowing touch and an intuitive approach, reflexology offers a deeply restorative experience that supports relaxation, balance and a greater sense of ease within the body.
Each treatment is tailored to you, taking into account how you are feeling in the moment and what your body may be asking for. By working with the reflex points of the feet, reflexology encourages a sense of harmony and connection, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance.
Whether you are seeking time to slow down, support during a busy season of life, or simply a moment of care for yourself, each session offers a nurturing space to rest, reconnect and feel supported as a whole.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many people come to reflexology because they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, or simply in need of time to themselves.
One of the most recognised benefits of reflexology is its ability to encourage deep relaxation. When we spend long periods in a state of stress, the body can find it difficult to switch off and recover. Reflexology provides a calm, nurturing space where the body and mind can begin to unwind.
Many clients leave feeling calmer, lighter, more balanced, and better rested. Others simply enjoy having an hour where nothing is expected of them and they can fully relax.
-
You’ll be invited to settle in comfortably, with the chance to fully unwind and switch off from the outside world. You remain fully clothed, and only your shoes and socks are removed.
To begin I’ll gently hold your feet and start with slow, calming movements to help you relax and arrive into the space. The treatment flows in a quiet, unhurried way, allowing your body and mind time to ease into rest.
Using soft pressure and gentle techniques, I work across the feet, responding to what I feel and what you communicate that you need in consultation. Every treatment is completely bespoke and adapted to you.
Many individuals find the session deeply soothing - some drift off, some feel warm and heavy, and others simply enjoy the quiet time and stillness of being cared for.
Towards the end, the pace slows even further, allowing you time to gently come back round at your own pace before sitting up feeling grounded, rested, and more at ease.
-
Most people find reflexology deeply relaxing and grounding.
The pressure is always intentional - never too firm to feel uncomfortable, and never so light that it feels ticklish or disconnected.
As different areas of the feet are worked, the reflexes may respond in subtle ways (e.g. sensitive, warm, gently reactive). These responses are not something to interpret or fix - they are simply part of how the nervous system processes input. Many clients notice a gradual softening response during or after a session - warmth in the feet, a feeling of heaviness or lightness, slower breathing, or a sense that the whole body is beginning to unwind.
Nothing is ever forced. The aim is always to support your system in finding ease in its own way and at its own pace.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy and does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
However, it can be used safely alongside conventional healthcare and is often chosen by people looking for additional support for relaxation, wellbeing, and stress management. -
Reflexology is generally suitable for most people and can be a deeply supportive experience. On occasion, there may be situations where it is not appropriate, and you will be gently advised if this is the case, always with your wellbeing in mind.
Before your first appointment, I ask you to complete a short electronic consultation form. This helps ensure that your treatment is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs from the very beginning.

You should hopefully feel very relaxed and rejuvenated. You may find you need a sip of water, or in fact, the toilet! There is no right or wrong reaction to this treatment, every individual is so unique with their response.
In some cases, you may experience a temporary reaction to the treatment known as a ‘healing response’. Side effects may include: dizziness, dehydration, headaches, nausea, increased sweating or urination, energy level changes, unusual sleep patterns and digestion changes.
These changes are normal and a clear indication that the body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances. Usually this effects are then replaced with feelings of vitality - however if you are concerned I do advise that you contact your GP. -
Reflexology’s cumulative effect is powerful, but frequency is very much independent to the individual.
This is something we can look at together following your first treatment.

If you have never received reflexology before, I believe that starting your journey with this treatment requires an open mind and an open heart. Lean in to the idea of relaxation; of letting go - and know that this experience is purely to support you on your path to balance.
Practically: wearing comfortable clothing is always advised, as this will enhance your overall relaxation experience - though only your feet and lower legs will be exposed for treatment. If possible, try to avoid a heavy meal beforehand. -
Some health cash plans and private healthcare policies include cover for complementary therapies, including reflexology. As a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists, treatments at Whole may be eligible for reimbursement under your policy.
As cover varies between providers and individual plans, it's worth checking your policy details before your appointment to see whether reflexology is included and whether any limits or conditions apply.
If you're able to claim, the process is usually straightforward. Simply book your treatment as normal, and I'll provide a receipt following your appointment, which you can submit to your provider as part of your claim.
“I strongly recommend Felicity as a reflexologist - as one of the best reflexologists I have been with.
I have had many reflexology sessions over the years, and indeed practices as a reflexologist myself in the past.
The session was very relaxing, and I would like to have more.”
